Insanity Day #2 Plyo Cardio Circuit

Wow.  So the warmup kicked my butt, the stretching felt good but was a slight challenge and round #1 of high intensity cardio finished me off!

This is going to be rough but fun. I'm looking forward to it.  All those people on the video? Surely I am just as good of an athlete as they are.  Hoping this helps me to "rewind the clock" a bit.  Getting those big muscle groups active and moving and supporting my body in all the activities I want to do and keep on doing...

Something I posted on facebook:
I do have to say that all this plyo is NOT something to jump into (haha) without strong legs already...it can seriously and quickly mess up your knees, your back or both. I am making heavy modifications to the moves where I need to based on what I know about my body and how it responds.

YOu don't have to leave the floor to do plyo, you can just do the up & down movements but not so explosive you leave the floor. Leaving the ground is actually the easy part...it's the landing...how you land specifically that can cause injury or damage.

So anyway, if you're thinking about it, be strong to start with (like a round of power 90 or p90x or good old fashioned body weight lower leg work for several weeks to months first), OR know the modifications you can make.

Bring it!  Or rather, Dig Deeper!!
